Rummage Sales!
This year we had two huge rummage sales. The first one was at our house, which, as many of you know, was no small task since we don't have a garage nor a basement to store all of our donated loot. We couldn't walk through our livingroom for several weeks, and our "nursery" was packed tight with boxed and priced goods. It was an exciting time, and we made $1,500 for the first sale, and almost $1,100 at the second.

The second sale was at a friend's house. She was kind enough to hostess it as well as help sort, price, and set it up. It was a fun day, even though they had to call the fire department... Nobody was hurt, but our friend's house nearly caught on fire as an electrical cord to a fish aquarium ignited. The funny part was, even though there were a half-dozen firemen and a big red firetruck in front of the house, people kept on shopping and coming as if this happened at all rummage sales. It was unbelievable!
